Natural Bass
Doug is not far off finishing a very nice natural finish bass guitar for a client. The client saw the original wood and was given the option of decided what features of the grain went where on the body and the neck.
Tele for young Keri
Doug has finished a lovely tele style guitar for young local guitarist Keri. Keri specifically chose this colour whilst in the workshop with Doug and it looks fantastic. The maple fretboard also has a matt finish which make it very playable. Well done Doug, it’s a beauty.
Des Parton with his Burnt Telecaster
Des Parton, of Sad Sweet Dreamer fame, called in to collect his Wilkes Telecaster. This guitar was burnt in the workshop fire and when Des saw it hanging up he said he wanted Doug to make a guitar out of the body.

Doug is very pleased to have finished an Answer ‘Slut’ model guitar for Les Godfrey in Canada.
The guitar was picked up at Doug’s workshop in keele on Tuesday Lunchtime by fed ex, and it’s actually arrived at Les’s home in Ontario tonight our time with only one string out of tune. How impressive is that carrier firm..!!

Repaired Martin acoustic
This is the Martin that looked like it had been used in a few Wild West fight scenes, nearly everything broken . It was well worth restoring xx
